I like them, not a huge fan of the Kraken for Cryx... but I'll deal.  I'm a bit curious as to if they're going to ship them in metal or plastic parts.  Metal would be a MASSIVE pain for something that size.

My only worry is that with all the recent updated to the various PP lines, they've always been getting bigger... I'm curious as to two things from here.

1) How large are they planning on making some of their newer ideas?  Are we talking Titan size?

2) If they have to make smaller models (which one would assume they will), how will they keep things varied without causing the "haven't I seen this before?" mindset.

That being said, I still love the new models and how they're going about this.  I'd probably look into a Menoth one.  Nothing like massive amounts of flamethrowers!

Erm... I didn't actually hear anything about the two numbered questions that I listed in there... they didn't state anything about size of future models (not the colossals I mean) or how to keep things varied going forth.

It's great that they care about the rules, and I like what they said for colossals, I'm just worried that things are going to get out of control eventually, the whole balancing game.  I'm glad it worked well with colossals, and I hope they can maintain it in the future.  :)

I missed the part about the resin hybrid, that should be interesting indeed.

They said they want it for people to play huge level games and the colassal jack we be balanced at lower levels unless I was hearing things. Pp has been trying for the last year to switch to this plastic.

I'm not sure they're superior to GW, but I think this is a great move by PP. So far the quality of the sculpts of the Colossals looks to be fantastic. I've been staring at the Stormwall (the Cygnar one) thinking about how it makes my Storm Strider look like crap. The detail is superior to what I thought they'd be capable of.

The struggle of PP when it comes to their product is getting it to the consumer in a timely fashion. When their production issues are over and can get their release schedule cut down to a more manageable timeframe then I think they'll match GW.

I wasn't referring to the Colossals, I meant going forward from here, as in whatever they make next.

I agree that it sounds like they built Colossals with the game in mind first, rather than just "let's make it badass!", which is a very good thing.

eHaley can Domination them ;)

I'm just wondering if you can Bond them. Some of the Bonds out there (eHaley, eSeverius, or eScorsha) are pretty brutal on massive centerpiece models.

If Malice hits one with a melee attack and expends a soul, you could make a full advance and melee attack with an enemy Colossal.

I beat thier movement is like 2". I also feel they will be weak vs armor pen models. Magnus will probably rip it to peices.

I think we're going to see some serious errata before these things drop. I would be shocked if abilities like Dominate, Machine Meld, or Possession work or work as well on these models. It would be extremely bad for business if these expensive models (both point and dollar wise) could be abused as handily as regular warjacks.

Privateer Press product literally can't compete with GW's for one very, very simple reason...
