Reality is a cruel and unintuitive place with rather frustrating game-play mechanics.

Maybe they could take some of that money and fix the Tau errata. It ain't good when the errata has typos. :|

I would expect then to continue their practices into the future...

Their models have been getting better and better over the last several years, that's for sure.

It was particularly interesting to see the numbers posted.  Sure it's public, but I never go digging for the info.

Its a 40% surge in revenue, pre tax which means they only get to keep about 60% of it or so. My guess is that a fair share of it will go to stock dividends to reassure their investors. Sure GW is expensive but as long as they're putting out the highest quality minis on the market, I'll still pay for em. And so will a lot of people, given the 40%.

I agree with brother Maynard. While other mini lines are cheaper the quality is lower. I am glad to see the company turning any profit and gain as the stock and the company has been declining over the past decade. Hopefully this is the turn around they needed.

Oh I'm aware, and I'm not serious with my title on this.  :)

From what I've seen, I still love the models that they make over all the others (although there are some pretty good ones from PP too), so I'm glad to see them doing well.

And given how often I buy new models from the store, I don't think there's any worry about them getting my money... hell, I might have contributed a whole percentage point to them on my own!  ;)

...and yet you all keep on buying. It would seem that their strategy is working then, no?

The high prices have also convinced me to stop playing 40k.

I found GW prices were too low so I started buying Forgeworld.
