Anyone up for a 500 point newb friendly game tomorrow?

I may be around i'm playing in the arena so i'll bring my 40K stuff just in case 1) I get killed early 2) it wraps up early and we have time for a game.

@Logan Those DK are coming along nicely. I especially like the way your bases are coming along.
@King Sounds like a plan. I will try to be there around 3-5

Yea i'm not sure exactly how long i'll be there but a 500 pt game should go fairly quickly.

LOL I was the guy in the baseball cap buying Orks that you talked to for a few minutes.
Next time I'm sure we will manage to get a game in.

Vallejo blue grey is the best color. If I didn't know better, I'd say GW used it for the Wolves in the codex and the boxes. When I painted wolves, that's the color I used. It's perfect.

There are pics of my Wolves in a Battleground FB picture album:

I like Sean's blue / grey / whatever, I'm colorblind.

I tried a lot of combos with GW paint to get the codex color, but the Vallejo was great and covered in basically 1 coat. If you want the old preheresy look just use straight codex grey as your armor color.

It took a while to get the paint scheme the way I wanted. Guess I have to start moving faster now.  Here's the first four, black gloves and boots are out now, going with the brown instead....

Squad markings will come later....

Now to to finish my honey do list, and a couple of papers, then more painting!

Cheers,
Alan
