Keep in mind that we have only had 1 event that contributes to the current standings.  That event was the 40k Singles from January 7th.

The next event that will contribute to the overall standings is the 40k Singles event on March 24th.  Details TBA.

Chase a good idea for you maybe.  The winner of the invitational should get a BG shirt stating as much and a plaque maybe.  Also not sure if it is doable but all invitational participants should get a shirt as well.

Not sure how this effects costs or if its doable but I thought it would be a good idea.

Yesss......I also thought the Trios even applied?  There were only 8 teams, so I fugre it wouldn't count very much, but still....

Having Trios apply would be unfeasible. It also puts a competitive edge on what should be one of the most casual events. In my opinion.

I fail to see how it is qualitatively different than the doubles tournaments.  And I also kinda see battlegrounds as a relatively "competitive edge" venue.

It's not about the Trios event itself, but it's implications.

To me, the integrity of the Invitational event is paramount. In a Trios event, it is possible that two excellent players can drag along a third player to victory who may not otherwise be "invited". Also, in a single event, Best General(s) and Player's Choice(s) would net 6 automatic bids out of 32 available spots. That's huge. Then what if two players on a team were or weren't already invited... Trios basically created a bunch of "what if?" headaches.

Cry all you want, tears and Trios don't get you into the Invitational. You should be a better player, like Keith.
