Basically, a 1st place player will receive a number of points equal to the number of players who finish the event. 2nd place will be awarded one point less, 3rd one less than 2nd place and so on until last place receives one point.

This means more points for everyone who finishes an event. It also makes math easier on my end. Win-win, as long as you finish tournaments.
