EDIT:

Vraksian Renegade Guard.

Specifically the Servants of Decay list from IA7: Siege of Vraks part 3.

Nice, Now are you starting fresh here or picking up from long long ago... :)

Cheers,
Alan

Picking up from where I left off.  Remember those primed zombies from an apocalypse game years ago?  Well, they are a staple of the army. ;)

Could be an interesting time, we'd have 4 or 5 different variations of guard if you did.

I've got to get my work area squared away to start building those elysians. fiddly little buggers.

Cheers,
Alan

The renegades are far more interesting looking and playing than the 5 man army I was going to do.

It's hard not just working on them now that we are talking about it.

While I would like to get Badab going, Ian, the update Renegade Guard from IA 5 are quite lined up with the current guard codex with some sneaky tricks wrapped in.

I'm using the slightly crappier, older Servants of Decay list.  Plague Ogryn, Hellblades (as skimmers) and zombies ahoy!

So, finally. I decided:
Imperial Guard. Regular old IG Codex. Cadians are purchased. No turning back now.

Also, Rich: You're welcome. I can't wait to crush those filthy traitors.

So what is that 3 for IG so far?

My mechanized Lamenters are... lamenting the amount of ordinance they will be facing.

My Son Sean would like to get involved. He's part way painted on some stuff but he's needs plenty of practice and encouragement. Any objections to him joining in here?

He's building and painting his own stuff and would be working on Salamanders.

Cheers,
Alan

Yes, it is more than okay for you to do this.  Getting 14 and 15 year-olds interested and involved in the hobby is EXTREMELY important to Battleground.
