Unofficial Annual Megabattle Thread of Doomination.

It's December.  That means it's some undetermined amount of time until the megabattle.

Much modelling, painting and planning goes into these armies so this is me putting you on notice.  Did you need a Baneblade or another assault squad; ask Santa and get that stuff painted!

Remember, it's 4000 points of awesome and it must be all together.  Start now and save yourself the pain of last minute build up!

There are rumors circulating of generals switching sides and all sorts of other crazy mix ups!

Hmm... I don't know if you meant to be super cryptic, but, for the record, I have no idea what you are talking about!  :)  Is this an actual event and is it in Abington or Plainville?  4000pts each in a multiplayer Megabattle?!?  Sounds like madness...

The Annual Megabattle is an Apocalypse megabattle that is run by Battleground.  4000 points a player and 40+ players.

It's huge.  The models are huge, the armies are huge, it's a huge event that is lots fun.  Codex units and Imperial Armor units on the board.  Superheavies, gargantuan creatures and all other kinds of nasties on the board fighting.

It's Order vs. Disorder in a classic sense.

I've known what I was going to be fielding for next year's Megabattle the week after the last one ended.  Since then, I've been planning and preparing for it.

...And hopefully after I'm done, I will never have to build or paint another Drop Pod for a VERY LONG TIME...  :D

I am hoping to have the Carcharodons Astra ready to go by then.  One planned superheavy that is just a luxurious transport.
