After all the marines, there's not much room for the Thunderhawk :)

So, here's my question: How many Space Marine players can commit to bringing a full battle company?

So here's a noobish question since i havent bought the Apoc book yet, now are the only armies that get super heavies IG and Orcs? baneblade and stoma respectivly?

or can other codexs use baneblades or somethign else form forgeworld?

Check out Forgeworld's site and bask in the awesome.

Most races get super heavies.  Marines don't get too much because their datasheets are boss enough to take care of titans with just marines.

gotcha, yah forgeworld didnt have much for Necrons, i'll have to pick up the apoc rules and see if i can have a grey knight landraider achilies lol

Ask Jfoodmaster about Necron Pylons.

Too soon?

I have the marines for one, but technically what I'm bringing isn't called the "Battle Company" formation itself.

Nah, not too soon. :) I'm over it. The chapter is over it and they want their revenge.

apocalypse is about bringing everything you got plus the kitchen sink. Technically speaking the grey knights can't take an Achilles but in apocalypse anything goes.

I want to pick up the Apoc book, but i've heard there isn't very much for Grey Knights in it and we've got 6th edition on the horizon which i ASSUME will mean a new apoc book for all the new rules and hopefully some Grey Knight love

and hell with it, i just ordered an Achilies off Forgeworld and i'm thinking about a Terminus Ultra too so i can shoot some Titans in the face

Considering that 6th Edition is due to come out shortly before next year's Megabattle, I wouldn't expect to see a new Apoc book for quite some time.  Not to mention that 5th ed. has already been grandfathered into the next Megabattle already.

If I were you, I'd just build and play what you find the most fun to play.  Like with the Achilles and Terminus Ultra, those are both IA variant Land Raiders (Not 100% on the Terminus though), and IA will always be Megabattle approved, regardless of edition.

Terminus has a Data Sheet on the GW site and it is a Land-Raider Variant.

Sorry, but I guess I should've been more specific.  I meant that I wasn't sure if Terminus was a data sheet out of IA or not.  I've seen it in the Apoc book and GW site, but not in an IA book yet.

I think we're targeting August.

There's a bunch of cool ideas floating around behind the scenes.

For better or worse, there's a handful (or more) big projects that are scheduled to happen between now and the Megabattle.

It's definitely going to happen and it will likely be the best one yet, it's just not getting any of my attention currently.

Interesting... This gives me a really good idea for a 40k campaign. The noodling begins.
