Is there any other way a tank could blow itself up?

Vindicator could Scatter onto itself by targeting a tank that is too close and blow itself up with its own shell.

Ya pretty bad how can you kill yourself accidentally Lor can think of it.

Ramming another tank with higher armor at high speed, you are technically wrecking yourself.

I'm going to purposely not give an answer on how I'm going to score it.

Pro Tip:  Don't build around it.

kind of like slamming a car into a big tree or brick wall. the opposite reaction is the tree or wall pushing back into the car.

No.

CHAOS does.

Fellow follower in the dark gods, we get a new Skabby, a new Anggrath, a new Giant Spined Chaos Beast, a new Giant Spawn, a new greater keeper of secrets...

FW is awesome because they don't differentiate.  The new rules for the Daemon Lords are pretty awesome even if they gimped Anggrath a hair.

Last I remember talking about it, it'll be awhile before BG tries it again.

You know though, we could always come up with a much smaller scale campaign... I think I know like 6 people who would play. :) Hmm, sounds like a good project to throw onto the pile.

I've managed to convince myself that a large part of the reason the league didn't fire was because people really enjoy the freedom that Thursdays currently provide.

It seems that many people just show up, get a game or two of whatever in, and then do whatever else they want.  I think it's one of the best things about Thursday 40k.

The league, in many respects, forces your hand.  You may not get to decide who you play that night, you may have to play several days of the week, or several games in one night, etc.

When we will give that league a shot again I can't say for sure.  Probably not very soon.  In addition to business as usual I've got.... A handful of miniature tournaments coming up in the next few months that hopefully provide the final bits of info I need before assembling something more "grand" (see that I did there?), a move, a project or two I don't want to make public yet that I'd like to spend some time on, a bathroom to install in Plainville, at least one giant convention to plan and execute, and a Megabattle to worry about.  That brings us to summer and (hopefully) 6th edition... Which may be a good time to visit the idea of running a league.

The 2 year plan for miniature players at Battleground looks pretty awesome.  Hopefully the amazing support continues.

ps.  I'm definitely up for exploring league options that thrive with 6-10 players instead of 14-20.

I think the easiest fix is same rules (including IA stuff) & smaller map. But yeah, soonest I could hope to wrangle that up is January.
