Thanks Ian and keith.  I had some good matches.  Best part is I got to take my favorite caster pSkarre.  Tied only with her epic version.  Can't wait for the next one.  Missed a few of you guys there. I'm looking at you Ian, keith, goss, and Shawn!

Yeah, it was disappointing that so few of the regular WM/H players could not make it to the event.

It's a bummer when the community asks for a particular thing and then can't support it for whatever reason.

Anyhow, the turnout was fine and the event worked out well.  We will do another one soon after the new year.

Keep an eye open for an event in Abington this December.

I showed up!  I got the bye because some net decking magic player dropped so I kept it even by leaving after completing round 2.

Yeah, sometimes it sucks being an adult. Nothing anyone can do, Chase.

On the plus side, you mother fuckers will have to deal with an Ian Mulligan possessing increased mathematical powers; vectors and better geometry and all sorts of fucking shit.

Yeah, Im pretty much minoring in Mathmachine.

It wasn't all bad, Chase. We still had 14 players initially which is solid for a Warmachine event. Plus it was great seeing some of the irregulars. Jarred and Owen were awesome, and the guys from CT were great too.

If there's any problem with these events its that people drop like crazy after 1-2 rounds.

Ian, I don't know how much more math can be applied to Iron Flesh on Kayazys w/ UA.  :P

Now I can annoy you with statistical jargon while I do that kind of bullshit.

On a serious note, this continues to surprise me. Drops seem to become more and more frequent. This isn't FNM, bros. Finish out the last round or 2.

Did anyone drop after I did?  I didn't want to sit through a bye just to have some else have to do the same. :-\

EDIT:

I got to tournaments to play games.  So well, it was kinda, yeah, defeating the purpose to showing up.

There were four drops. Their listed at the bottom of the results sheets.

I know people end up leaving for different reasons, many of which are justifiable (event runs late, sickness, family emergencies, etc), but it still kinda sucks.

Yeah, sorry I couldn't make it, but family obligations are about the only thing that trumps Waramahordes, and unfortunately that got in the way. Even worse was it involved 40k. Boo. Hiss. Any ways, sounds like it was a great event, and I can't wait for the next one! If there is one in Abington, that would be sweet, cuz I 1), miss that place and 2), it's a hell of a lot easier to get to.
