Results will be posted later tonight.  I don't advise waiting up for them.

Plainville spoiler, a Battlewagon did not win!

Nor did the lone Chaos Land Raider. That poor guy rolled a 1 on a d100.

This was a solid event, and had a turnout of 20+ people. So, it was busy and lots of tanks shooting and ramming.

I concur Ben. I did like the idea of separate tables scaled by pts cost. I will say I have never rolled so epic/bad though. It was unfortunate that some people complained a lot, but the high turnout was excellent. I am surprised how much the super heavies died, I had expected them to conquer all. Unfortunately, it makes me want to purchase one. It is also interesting that the Military Channel is playing a "Tanksgiving" marathon as well.

If next year's event looks to have a similarly high turnout, I imagine the format will be tweaked, whether it's more tables, teams (which could be awesome) or some other variant.

Yes, there was some needless bitching at a casual event of plastic space mans. Most if not all cases could have been prevented by...
1) People having their stat sheets, as requested
2) People understanding the ramming and board edge rules, with which they should be familiar
3) Agreeing to the simply elegant 4+ roll-off solution, given there were only 60 second turns

Once that was all laid out, it was pretty smooth from there. :)

I would love to see an all-Walker event. Maybe on Chuck Norris' birthday (March 10).

That was a blast and my second year participating. Much better than the first year too I might add. I actually got six confirmed kills and suffered only a 'crew shaken' the entire game and the best part - I got to destroy moony 3 times ^^. When he finally did fight back - he hit himself and could not shoot.
I like to go home, pour some whiskey, and have a surplus of units to pick from.
