I dont want to answer for chase, but i can guarantee that you can watch. Chase likes to get people involved. Also, why are you not participating? lack of a tank? i might be able to lend you one of my brother's leman russes if thats the reason.

Yeah, Elf, if you show up half an hour early, i can literally teach you the basic dynamics of the game. with only one tank to control and plenty of hands to help, you can easily play it. I can lend you a Vanquisher with Pask, very good anti tank. IF you can it would be AWESOME! and hey, you might even bag yourself your own tank!

from what I understand Crypt even the 3-5 Express Delivery takes like 2 weeks cause they hand cast the model when you order it but I could be wrong.

they usually stock alot of their stuff just today someone asked about a reaver and 2 warhounds and the said that those were in stock on the shelf. so i think they would have a lynx in stock for you. i think the order i did took about 10 days (including weekend). but the_trooper could tell you better on that.

Yeah, elf, the leman russ is pretty basic, and it only has 1 special rule which has to do with firing and moving at the same time. I will be the tallish blonde kid prolly in a maple leaves sweatshirt asking people "are you the elf?"

I order that resin goodness frequently enough. If you ordered it tonight, a good chance it could be here by next Friday.

That's provided a few variables are in your favor:
Customs are * expletive deleted*
It is in stock
Everyone is in the shop working.

I forget the exact turn around time but it tends to be a little over a week so the 10 day estimate is accurate.

Emory frequents the Plainville store.  I'm not sure what his plans are for TANKSgiving, but I'd bet he'll be in Plainville.

I'm sure you won't have much trouble finding someone to lend you a tank in Abington.  A lot of the guys there literally have more tanks than they know what to do with.

I went from the one tank for last year (I cobbled together a Hammerhead from the shell of a Devilfish I got second hand... some might remember it... The turret was actually a tic-tac container, plasticard, and a couple pens.  I'll post a picture if I can, as it actually looked OK!).  I now own a Land Raider, a Vindicator, and a Predator... It's addictive!

Anyway I can vouch for this being a good chance to have some fun, and learn some rules.  TANKSgiving was my first 40K experience since... 2nd edition?  Borrow a tank and have at it, you'll probably own like 4 tanks by next year.   Everyone is super nice, and you might even get to slay a superheavy...

Sadly, I'll be in Plainville this year, Abington was a huge trek last year, but it was worth it.

I'll be at abington, and have a number of guard tanks, so if you want to borrow one I can hook you up.

I'm going to be rolling in with a piddly little tank and taking two rolls on the upgrade chart. So I've got a question on about the '3' on the upgrade chart. Which of the following is how it works:

1. One of the guns on your tank now fires an additional d3 shots that are upgraded to S10, while the other values (i.e. range) stay the same.
2. One of the guns on your tank now fires an additional d3 S10, but with different values. (If this is the case, what is the range, etcetera of the new shots?)
3. One of the guns on your tank now only shoots d3 S10 shots. (If this is the case, what is the range, etcetera, of the gun?)
4. Your tank now has a new gun that fires d3 S10 shots. (If this is the case, what is the range, etcetera, of the gun?)
5. Other.
