NOVA Wrap-up

Congrats to the locals that went to NOVA and did well.  In case yall didnt know there was about 5-6 BG locals that went to NOVA this year to represent themselves and their local crews.

Simon L. - Went 6-2 for the weekend and Won his bracket the second day
Bill M. - Went 5-3 for the weekend and Won his bracket the second day

Team Darkstar a newly formed gaming club went with 3 people and Won the Trios Team Tourny!  Please like us and follow us on Facebook.  We always like to make friends and meet new people.
 
Bill S. - Went 5-3 but went undefeated during the Team Tourny
Keith B. - Went 6-2 and fought hard during the team tourny with his Nids and lost a close game by 30 VP
Troy E. - Went 6-2 but went undefeated during the Team Tourny'


Again Congrats to the local gamers of BG I think we all represented well and were top notch competitors for the weekend.

Congrats to all! Looks like BG crew made a strong showing. Maybe next year, I'll show up and drag us all down.

I've been intensely curious about results, and my only criticism of NOVA from afar was the lack of accessible real-time results.

I did not win.  When you go 3 rounds of shooting and literally only manage to destroy 2 guns and imobilize 2 vehicles its hard.  Mind you this is with 16 + str 8 shots!!!

I dont remember the last half of the game however as I was very drunk at that point.  But I made a good comeback but it wasnt enough to take the game.

We had our chance to beat up on celebrities the next day though. In the trios we beat up on jawaballs and his team and the 11thcompany/eternal warriors team.

Best to get crappy dice out of the way early though, and performance-wise you clearly made up for it later. Next year, everyone's going undefeated. We'll beat the field and beat the system.
