Sign me up!

It runs for 6 weeks.  Players are asked to be at the store at 6:30pm for the league meeting every week.  That meeting will last roughly 10 minutes the first week and 5 minutes every other week.

Otherwise, it's entirely on the players to arrange games, play times, etc.

Hell sign me up, i'm still a 40k noob but sounds like fun. A couple questions though...

2k lists, do you submit a list and use that with no changes for the entire campaign?

630 Thursdays is league nights and then its on the players to set up the game for that week i assume it is anytime from that Thursday night until next Thursday before the 630 meeting?

IV. No assassins may be used unless specified in the location brief.

so you cannot use assassins even if it's in your codex?

thanks

Nope.  2k is the default assuming you and the person you're playing can't agree on a point value.  You will never need to submit a list to us, but I'm sure your opponent might like to see it.

You can play games as large or small as you and your opponent want.  Wanna do 500?  Do it.  Wanna do 5000?  Do it.

Yup.  You have the entire week to play your games.  Many weeks certain players may have a few league games to play.

Correct.

I'm not sure what you mean.  Players will only be asked to be at the store on Thursday nights at 6:30 for the 6 weeks the league runs.  You do not need to stay 1 minute longer than the league meeting takes.

When and where you play your league games is entirely up to you and your opponent(s) to figure out.  It can be Thursday night at the store (which will happen often, I'm sure) or it can be at any other time during the week.

Some buzz about the Plainville store tonight for the campaign. I think it would be beneficial to solidify (i.e. Subject Not to Change) the rules by next week.

There was one nice suggestion. Six weeks in a row is hard for some people, and in our personal group, we game with what we call the Spider-Man rule. "Everyone gets one." This is your moment of forgetting something, like showing up. If a person has real life preventing them from being at the meeting, but can submit a proxy plan (attack X territory), they should be allowed to do so, but just once. If the proxy won't work, it defaults to reinforcing the player's territories and counts against the one-time use. Anyway, food for thought.

Two things.

1) How exactly do players sign up?

2) Ian's question remains unanswered.

Player's wanting to sign up go up to the desk and tell whoever is there.  :)

Assassins = not allowed unless the area allows them.  Weird, but that's the way it goes.

Is there a city of death book in the Plainville store for reference throughout the campaign?

There will be.  Yes.

The revisions and clarifications are the red text? And the rules are set to go? Looks good to me.
