Necron Codex, Will Be Back... But how soon?

It seems that the Necron Codex is no longer for sale on the GW website, or am I just wrong.  Does that mean a new one is coming soon?

Ya rumours been going around for a While Now that Necrons are the Next Codex to be updated. Rumours also state that they will be the first Underpowered Codex Mat Ward rights .

The entire Necron line moved over from "trade" (which means stores can order it normally) to "available to order" (which means we need to special order it).

Even when I have tried to "special order" some of the Necron stuff I have either been told not to from my rep. or told they are out of it.

I'm willing to bet they've simply run out of Necron books.

There is no doubt in my mind that Necrons are the next 40k book.  I would have bet money they were coming in August, but it seems that DE and Vampire Counts needed new / more models instead...

well Necron players rejoice. Now they need to do Tau but I bet they will re-do marines first so that all Marines get the Storm Raven

Likely not, I imagine. They got patched in their FAQs fairly recently, which is license for neglect over the next few years.

I play Black Templar and working on Dark Angels. I hope they leave them alone for a long time lol.

It'll prolly go like this, after Necrons:
6e Rule update (they update it every ~4 years, so it's due roughly about then)
SM Codex
Tau Codex (They're prolly going to make a starter set with these two if there's no new races)
After that, I know that these 3 WILL be updated, I just don't know in what order:
I.G. Codex
Ork Codex
Eldar Codex

My guess for those 3, however, is just how I set it up. Orks are one of the most played factions, so I know they'd be updating them pretty soon.

While they are due for an update, they're in that really late 4th early 5th block that's probably not going to get changed as fast as Tau or Eldar, considering they're older 4th codices.

Worst Case Scenario: Daemons (and possibly CSM too) get the D.E./Necron treatment.

Best Case Scenario: Every codex gets a 6e makeover, and we get another army to boot.
