The company just terminated our Food and Beverage director. Effectively dumping a whole positions workload to be divided amongst the kitchen workers ( all 3 of us). I am working monday the 21 as we just dont have staff currently. I apologise and if need be can step out of the group for the time being.  :'(

I think we need to make a decision.  With Murph not able to make it on the 21st we may have an actual issue.  The next gaming session is probably the last one that I can (plot wise) add a character without difficulty, and you will need at least 4 players where you are going.  Unless someone has another option we can either, wait till Murph is free,  or try to add someone (however long it takes).  Either way, unless we get someone this week, playing on the 21st will be difficult.

It sounds like we have 4 people that are a go for the 21st, with Murph sounding like he wont be able to make it at all in the near future we either....

Try to add someone last minute like Ron suggested
Try moving it to a night other than Monday that would be better for Murph.
Go ahead in the campaign with 4 people

Personally i'm game for any of the options. I'll try it with 4, we get somebody last minute great, If Murph cant do mondays i only work 2 shifts a week so i can do pretty much any day other than Thursday which is my 40k night in Plainville. Not trying to speak for anyone else since i havent been here as long as everyone else so i dont know if Monday was chosen for a reason.

We do have four players who can make it normally, it is an unfortunate consequence of kitchen work that Murph isn't able to join us more often. I blame his ass-hat-deluxe with cheese of a manager. Now, Ron, are you saying we may need a fifth for our group to survive? If so, we had best start looking to recruit sooner than later. Otherwise, I think we should be fine.

Anyone else have thoughts on this?

Ok, taled to Murph and I think I have a solution, once I get a copy of his character.  5 players you'll need.  and thus you will have.  We should still be good for the 21st, but we may need another way of picking the date we game on, something a little more flexible.  I don't have a solution, yet.  But i'll work on it.

Is someone going to be doubling up on characters? Or are you going to "Kitt"-him out and make it a self driving character? Or is a new person coming in on a session by session "renting" the character? Or some twisted and devious combination of all of the above? You, sir, are SICK!

Righteous indignation aside, we need to clean out that keep and make it into our own personal fort. We can love, and pet it, and call it Fort Awesome. Thoughts?
