Battle Engine question
« on: June 20, 2011, 09:30:33 PM »
One of the new guys was reading through the Wrath book today and asked me about how Battle engines die.  He mentioned that they didn't have any damage boxes and instead say something like, "When this model is hit... X,Y,Z."

What's the deal there?

Attle engines do have boxes, 20 on average.  You hit them, roll more damage than their armor, and they lose those boxes, that's how they die, same as everything else.

Battle engines die the same way.

If he is confused, say they are like giant mechanical solos.

Yeah, that's pretty much what they are: Giant solos with some special rules.
