Wednesday the 24th
« on: September 25, 2008, 12:53:56 AM »
Actually got to play some games tonight  :D.
Thanks to Paul and Steve for giving me some good matches.

Both games I took Kraye, Centurion, Sentinel and Charger (347pts).
OMFG Kraye seems to be disgustingly good, he even makes the Charger worth fielding!
'Jacks that count as cavalry are just amazing.
The second game was 500pts, but it was still Kraye and his 'jacks that did the damage.

The games basically went hit+run, hit+run, feat+Centurion missle.
The Charger actually got to charge to finish off Steve's Warlock.

Kraye's large base size seems to be his only drawback......

Can you explain how the Thunderhead rules lawyering thing works again?

I want a piece of Kraye. He looks good, but he's definitely got a huge target on his head for my bombards.

Kraye casts Full Tilt on T-Head (doubles speed, no ranged attacks)
Kraye casts Guided Fired (boosted ranged attack ROLLS)
Strangewayes uses Arcane Reinforcement (ranged attacks count as magic attacks using RAT)
T-Head moves 10" and does E-Pulse (makes a ranged attack, which counts as magic, against everything within 10")

Ok. So the attacks are no longer a ranged attack at all they are a magic attack so they can be made... but If Guided Fire boosts ranged attack rolls how do you get it to help a magic attack roll? Instead of
"T-Head moves 10" and does E-Pulse (makes a ranged attack, which counts as magic, against everything within 10")"
Shouldn't it be:
T-Head moves 10" and does E-Pulse (makes a magic attack, which would have been a ranged attack, against everything within 10")
Thus no Guided Fire.

I think Full Tilt and Strnagewayes work together but Guided Fire won't. Maybe I am missing something from a previous ruling or something.

I have reviewed this and it works. The question on PPs forums is now about if there will be errata.

My bad.

Seems like a sweet combo. I would like to see how it works out on the table.
