Is finecast the beginning or the end?

As most people know, gw has dropped all metal models for their new finecast line.  All of the specialist games for the most part are metal.  So does this mean that the specialist games have a hope of updated rules and/or models?  Or is gw dumping the specialist games for good?

I'm pretty sure Specialist Games never had a hope of updated rules.  Most of the games are community driven already.

I was curious if GW would have Finecast Mordheim models... No hope at all for rules updates, though.

Seriously though, people do like the Specialist Games models and find many uses for them.  The BFG models, well some of them, are some of my favorites.  It'd be a shame for those to go the way of the dodo.  But, if GW is no longer supporting the game then would they still make models for said game (or games as the case may be)?  Dubious but hopeful.

Seriously though, people do like the Specialist Games models and find many uses for them.  The BFG models, well some of them, are some of my favorites.  It'd be a shame for those to go the way of the dodo.  But, if GW is no longer supporting the game then would they still make models for said game (or games as the case may be)?  Dubious but hopeful.

I was actualy thinking this when I heard about fine cast. I have an imperial fleet some where but the 2 largest imperial ships are a pain in the ass to assemble. If the large imperial vessels were made from resin it would be oh so joyous.

id still prefer metal tomb scorpions over resin, i cant snap metal (or at least i havent done it yet)
