Post Megabattle Dinner
« on: April 02, 2011, 03:50:10 AM »
I know the megabattle was split last year, those who drank and those who ate.  As One of those who ate. I propose we all go to Burtons this year. Its in the same plaza as Bertucchi's.  Chase and Derek have both given a positive Nod to this plan.  Its really good food, which having both worked and eaten there I can vouch for.  Just planting the bug now.  There is a website and menu on that site.

It is really expensive  Like If you want a RIB-EYE and BEER = $60ish.

On the other hand, if you get a sandwich and ice water, you can join the fun without setting back your plans for a Forgeworld titan too far...

Assuming one can grasp the concept of moderation on the day of a Megabattle.

Just hinting.  Don't even know if the Phantom will weigh in under 4000 points.

Besides, where do you store it?  If one puts it on one side of the fireplace like an old suit of armor, would you have to get an Emperor for the other side of the fireplace to balance it?    ;)

hate to be the harbinger of bad food news. But the megabattle is expected to run 10 till 10 and burtons closes at 11. After clean up and awards I doubt there will be time.

I quickly glanced at this before I read it and read "burritos" instead of "Burtons".

I think burritos at 10pm would be awesome.

Although Burtons does sound good.  I will make it a point to check it out next time I'm down that area.

I've actually eaten there before, and the food is pretty good.  However, the fact that it closes so early makes it a harder choice since the Megabattle will likely run pretty long.

I'm open for other suggestions though.  Anyone else have any ideas?  Personally, I thought Bertucci's was a great place to go to last year.
