You got me excited b/c I started to look into this Adepticon.  For about 25 min I started thinking about how I can fit this in my schedule and begging and pleading with my wife.  Then I looked up its location to find it is in Chicago   With everything going on, there better be a ton of tourneys when I come up there for good in June.  It seems like I am missing a ton of good stuff.

Adepticon is pretty amazing. among the speakers presenting seminars is Dan Abnett, and the Warhammer Team event, not one of the most premier events (its held on Sunday, never prime convention time), at this point has 61 TEAMS.
Fortunately i have a kid in Chicago, so the wife's response is 'Isn't it nice you are doing something together' rather than the usual gaming road trip response.   .

I disagree with the forcing of keeping units if it include your lords and heroes. Say I wanted a lord in the last round, that typically means I would need to cut something fro
 the other list first. Just saying. Waffles are deliscious.

Maybe I'll play with orcs and goblins and make peoe sperg at new rules

Im just curious if i signed up for this event, and if i did not is there any room. If there is what is required from me? I sent you an e-mail but have not heard back apologies for posting here.

Chase is currently AFK at PAX east and was planning to have some down time after the event where he said he would be unable to contact people in reguards to emails they sent him.  So, if he hasn't sent one back its to be expected.

Lately, Chase has been trying to get players to email their lists prior to the event in army builder format so he can load it and verify it is legal.  If you don't have access to army builder that is ok just email it to him anyway.  If you are unable to email it for whatever reason just make it a point to show up with enough lists that you can leave one with the Event organizer and have enough to show your opponents during the game if issues arise.

O as for a list of players signed up.  Your best bet would probably be to call plainville during the week to check with someone working there.  They may be able to tell you how many are signed up and if you are on that list.

i may not enter the painting comp either, i decided this morning that i HATE the color scheme on my daemonettes. it is taking all my willpower not to strip them and try to repaint the whole unit by sunday. i have a nasty feeling that tonight i'll end up throwing the whole unit, movement tray, magnets and all into a tub of simple green after having one six pack of guinney too many. oh well.
