In case people didn't catch it on Facebook: Battleground has shortened hours this week, since we're leading up to PAX East. As far as Thursday 40k goes, that means I'd like to have to store closed and locked at 10:00 PM (since I'll be heading up to Boston in the dark hours of the morn). Please plan your games accordingly. Thanks, folks!

Thursday 40k was 8 players strong this week, with some newer faces joining the fray! So glad the community has its momentum intact.

I had a great time last night got to Play my first 40k game ever with the Chaos Space Marines from the Dark Vengeance set.  Played with Brian, Tom and John, awesome time.  Looking forward to doing it again next week.

Yes, I had an excellent time having my poor marines bladevaned into mush and eviscerated by Chosen... WEEE! My next list is going to be much scarier and the pecs will be popping so you better watch yourself!

I might be ready for a 1000 point game sometime early next week if anyone will be around...?

(P.S. It's "Jon" with no H - I get that a lot)

AAAAAh The pecs  lol, that was madness in itself.

You guys still won the war at the end.  I will double the same squads by Thursday night, and will probably have some other fun figures to play with.

I am thinking of taking the Gopro Camera just to film randomness and/or game that is played.

This week we had.
Salamanders vs Salamanders. If you're wondering who won it was the Salamanders.
An Ork Dread Mob with 15 killa kans vs Astra Militarum
Chaos Space Marines vs Space Marines
Demons vs Eldar

So yeah lotsa 40k this week.
Should the miserable Grot crews survive for long they will soon become deafened and have to resort to a rudimentary system of sign language. This is rarely successful as there are only so many signs a Grot can carry around with him.
