First one went down from orbital bombardment from the chapter master and lascannon x2 + grav cannon from the centurions.  Second Riptide was grav guns and regulaon the bikes and devastators with lascannons.  The third one was brought down by the Ravenwing Command Squad (combination of plasma and rending hammers).

Centurions have been getting more and more love around here.  People seem to think they make up their points all the time.

I love seeing cool looking, NEW models do well.

There's supposed to be a snow storm Thursday., are people still going?
Should the miserable Grot crews survive for long they will soon become deafened and have to resort to a rudimentary system of sign language. This is rarely successful as there are only so many signs a Grot can carry around with him.

Worst of it is supposed to be Thursday night/Friday morning. I'll be skipping Thursday 40k this week, stay safe out there

Anyone want to play earlier? Before the weather gets bad?

It's supposed to be snowing all day from what I understand. Safety first. I believe I'll be staying off the roads, and likely need to be shoveling the night away.

Does anyone want a steady job in which you get your ass whooped all the time and are too tired to do the fun things you once did?

I still got to the store tonight with yet another donation of a 3200 count card box. :) But then I left early to go buy sneakers, for the aforementioned job. Lame indeed!

But there were a couple games in the works, someone new and interested, season veterans, casual guys. Just your usual diversity playing all the 40ks.

I even swung by just before 9pm.  Watched the tail end of a game of 40k and there where was at least one other game going on as well.

Feeling competitive? 1850 this week, preparation for the TempleCon primer tournament this Saturday at BG.

Feeling like rolling dice and having fun? That still happens too.
