Fateweaver can make someone reroll?  I assume through psychic powers?

They had to 4+ the interpretation of Fateweaver's special ability to re-roll one die per turn. To me, it was pretty clear that Fateweaver's ability only applied to rolls the Daemon player makes, because how can a player re-roll dice he never rolled in the first place? The arguing interpretation, that Fatey can force anyone to re-roll any one die per turn, won the 4+ rules roll off.

Oh hell no!!  I agree with you on this Ben.  Its a reroll on one of his rolls not the other players.

Yea the wording is dicey imo, but I got my info from Bell of Lost Souls.. but perhaps they are wrong. Good to know, the game me and Brad played was just a friendly game so its not a huge deal. Like I said it was a good game, going forward I will interpret it as "daemon player" only  ;)

When in doubt we always have Ben Solomon (to resolve the issue I will cut the model in half) lol ;D

Yeah, no offense to the internet, but I generally don't trust it any further than I can throw it.  Saying something on the internet isn't a qualification, it merely means you've said something on the internet.  To be fair, I'm saying this on the internet.
Too busy being AWESOME to listen to your whining.

I'm so confused as to how anyone can interpret that Fateweaver can make his opponent re-roll...
0000 - Rest Period - BUT YOU BETTER NOT SPEND FOUR WHOLE HOURS SLEEPING. IF YOU DO YOU ARE NOT ANGRY ENOUGH AND TOMORROW YOU GET THE FIRST CHANCE TO PLAY PIN THE TAU ON THE CARNIFEX.

"This staff allows you to re-roll a single D6 of your choice once per turn..."

According to that, you can't make your opponent re-roll.  But, you can re-roll a dice your opponent rolled :)

However, this would be stupid.

It's just one of many cases in which GW could have written the rule more clearly. I think they have a fear of being highly specific.

In related news: The Stargate malfunctioned which sent Jack O'Neil back in time. Who told me when the Space Marine codex hits next month there will be new ambiguous rules and loopholes.

I'm looking for an 1850 game tomorrow night. Competitive play practicing for NOVA. Not looking to curbstomp people looking for practice and critiquing for both sides. Post here if you want a game, I'm traveling over an hour so if no one responds I will be absent.
