Rare thing, but I will not be able to make it tonight. Thursday 40k soldiers on, get your games in before the Snowpocalypse.

Speaking of snowpocalypse is the abington grand reopening this Saturday being postponed?
Should the miserable Grot crews survive for long they will soon become deafened and have to resort to a rudimentary system of sign language. This is rarely successful as there are only so many signs a Grot can carry around with him.

Now that I know my place as one of those "let's roll dice and have fun" guys, I decided to stick with what I know. People rolled dice tonight, and had fun.

Orks vs Shark Marines. Orks made a furious comeback, but what was left of the Marines hung on to claim the Emperor's Will as their own.

Tau vs Drop Pod Lamenters. And thus the Tau did lament their lives.

IG vs... I have no idea what Tom was playing. I don't think it was Chaos, as I didn't see any tanks with legs.

It is being in your face turn 1 without being able to shoot back. Turn 2 means they are in assault with Tau. Goodbye Greater Good you can take the Emperor's Will and choke on it.
I ride in on my Bike with my Hat of awesome and say Nay this place should be on fire.

Yep dedicated transports were ramshackling and blowing up all over the place. Good times where had by all.

The most salient feature are the Drop Pods. All the drop pods.

It's sad but true  :D  Sometimes I feel like the drop pods are doing more damage than everybody else.  Then Death Company charge, and I get a heaping helping of reality :)

In other news, I'll be down on Thursday.  Is anyone interested in a game of whac-a-menter?

This reminds me, I need to double-check with Tyler to see if I'm still helping him with new players. If that's not happening, I don't have a Plan B.

Hey, I'm a noob to 40k slowly but surly building a dark angel army looking to learn how to play. I use to play fantasy so I know the basics and have read though the dark vengeance rulebook but warhammer fantasy was a long time ago for me and the newest edition 40k rulebook is a little more complex than I'm use to, so if someone is willing to play some low point games and teach the finer points of 40k, I've got Thursday nights open, my name is Shawn by the way, like my account name suggests.
