That is the day after my last final, so there is a good chance I will be there...besides, I need to ask Ben about the new conversion that I am working on.

Hmmm, Ben's Deathwing, and Nick's Green/Raven/Deathwing will be there....maybe I should bring my Ravenwing and DA can just completely take over Planeville.

My fallen angels will indeed be there. Do you think your ravenwing can handle the might of the first legion? Hail Luther! The gauntlet has been thrown. Mad dok Robert I challenge you to a battle for the redemption of the 1st legion. Do you accept?

The 500 point event post is up, for those of you that never look at the sticky posts.

Orks vs Tau
Tau vs Blood Angels / Guard
Grey Knights vs Chaos Space Marines
Dark Angels vs Chaos Space Marines

Seems like once 7 o'clock rolls around these days, the action picks up significantly.

Two tables played through an Invitational scenario for me, and the games were both complete bloodbaths. Couldn't be happier!

Anybody planning on coming by for Thursday 40k tomorrow or is everyone still in food comas while playing with their new toys?

It all depends on the weather. If the storm has cleared out and the roads look okay, I'll be in. If not... and that's really too bad, because my vacation starts Thursday night and I could actually afford to stay late.
Space Wolves, Imperial Guard, Chaos.

I expect the weather will be relatively okay for us, so I'm planning on being there. Doing what exactly, I have no idea.

Nurgle is making his presence known beyond the tables. I left early to get some rest, an attempt to head off impending illness. Tis the season!

There were still games tonight among the last few standing.

Grey Knights vs Sisters & IG (Yup, Simon returned!)
Space Wolves vs Orks
Space Marines vs Chaos Space Marines

This coming Thursday 40k will likely be your last chance to get in some Invitational practice.

A random person interacting with 40k in any meaningful way this Thursday will be eligible to win a squig.

I definitely need that. I'll be able to cast Ol Zogwort's curse twice.
Should the miserable Grot crews survive for long they will soon become deafened and have to resort to a rudimentary system of sign language. This is rarely successful as there are only so many signs a Grot can carry around with him.

Taking on Games Workshop's recent theme of "New Year, New Army", I am proud to announce the New Thursday 40k.

Players will show up Thursday and play 40k. New Thursday, New Army!
