Anyone looking to help me try out possible Feast of Blade lists?  2000 pts?  Going to be mostly Tau, with some GK.

Don't let the short week fool any of you! Tomorrow is Thursday and that can only mean 40k.

It's fun for the whole family, if your whole family plays Warhammer.

The next local tournament is 1850, so I'd aim around there. Bigger games, smaller games, doesn't really matter so long as players play. And players gonna play.

Well, didn't manage to get tonight off like I wanted... but I don't have to be in until 4am Friday morning.  Just as good for my needs, so I'll be heading up.  Going to pick up my LE DV box.  Won't be bringing my guard with me though, not sure if I'll try and get in a game with my DV forces or not, but we'll see!

Pat, I like the list, looks very solid.

As I was looking at it, I had an idea. Drop a Vindicator, and take a Librarian on a bike. Just a thought, as I don't think I've seen you run that.

Nope I've never really done it and putting one on a Bike makes it so much more survivable considering they don't have an invulnerable save. It is something to consider. Alternatively I could Drop both Vindicators and Do this.

I wouldn't take 2 HQs.  I also wouldn't drop the vindicators completely...they were the only thing keeping me from wanting you to take either more meltas or lascannons (you'd have no way to crack tough vehicles....there's always that guy who takes 3 LRs).

I like the bike captains, bike captains rock, and scoring bikes are awesome.  But why give him a relic blade rather than a powerfist/hammer?  Artificer armor for your 2+ save is important, but crackign 2+ yourself is just as important.

Pretty good night for 40k last night. (Not so great for me, as I started to feel ill and left early.  :-\)

I believe there was a new guy and at least 4 tables.
Necrons vs Necrons
Chaos vs Chaos
Chaos Space Marines vs Blood Angels
Tyranids vs some sort of power armor
Pretty sure a fifth game that started when I wasn't feeling so hot.

A number of people stopped in to visit, but had to leave.

Printing out the new FAQ/Errata right now, and it seems like a good time to mention tomorrow's Thursday. All of those questions you frequently asked, consider them answered.

Again, tournament practice is a good thing. 1850 points. The only thing you have to fear is fear itself... and death in a cold, uncaring universe. Warhams!

Thursday 40k is still going strong. 5 tables tonight, one of which was a Doubles match.

Me? Well, I'm pretty excited for Blood Bowl. Like, way too excited. Currently killing my ink cartridge printing out the rules.
