I know of two good teams looking for 1250 Doubles practice this Thursday. I'd simply pair them up against each other, but it'd sure be nice to throw them an unexpected challenge!

If you want to coordinate a team with someone, you've got a couple days notice to get your lists together and get them tournament legal. If you want to just show up with any ol' 1250 points, that's perfectly fine too. In these matches, moving models around as a team is more important than simulating a tournament.

I may or may not be there this Thursday. I have work and it just happens to be from 6-9 which is when most people are either playing or showing up. I will however try to start making it a regular thing for me to show up for Thursdays and possibly Saturdays (i know Saturday is usually also a big 40k day as well).

If I can make it out this week I would be willing to team up with someone to give the guys that want to practice for the tournament a run for their money.

Fun Fact, did you know it takes an entire can of Chaos Black Primer to prep a Stompa...

Bah, Whole Can = Exaggeration

1 whole can of primer on a stompa and you wouldn't see any of the detail through the 0.100 inches of paint.

Don't know If I will show up this week. Putting together pieces and getting them primed. Drop pods are the most boring models I have ever had to put together. They are just a repetition of the same parts over and over. Nothing exciting or appealing that you can do with them.

I ride in on my Bike with my Hat of awesome and say Nay this place should be on fire.

May not be interesting to put together, but could be a ton of fun to paint one of those.  I have been itching to get one to paint, but not worth the $$ since i don't know if or when I would actually field it.  All those doors are a blank canvas waiting for some detailed freehand work!

I agree once you get it together and primed it going to be a lot of fun to paint. But you can't do any conversion you can't magnetize much on it. Its an 89 piece model to put together just so you can paint the doors.

My Orks are out this week.  My bride is taking my father-in-laws Celtic season tickets for the game tomorrow.

I guess I will use the time to get some paint on the Stompa.

I don't think I will make another Thursday 40k until after May. Financial issues at the house have me saving every single penny I can. Getting some quality time to work on Painting my Army though. Goal by the end of May is to have a 1500 point list painted and ready to field.

Hey Ben, I'll be a doubles partner for you or I could play a 2000pt game. Whatever, I'll show up around 630

Saving up to buy another hat? Seems prudent.

That would be cool with me. I'll endeavor to have eaten dinner by then.
