I'd really like to start play-testing 500 point Doubles lists tomorrow night, but I have a feeling it may be short notice for this week. I haven't taken my Daemons out of the car since the tournament, so I have 1850 on hand. I guess we'll see what the turnout is like, and go from there. Or as I like to call it, Plan A.

Nick and Rob, that would be a good match up. I'll make sure you two find each other.

In that case, just plan on bringing 125 points.

Tonight was pretty darn fun, definitely needed for the soul after a long work week.

Chaos Daemons vs Imperial Guard. A casual, push dice around, go over basics game. My little warp friends endured gouts of firepower to overcome.

Dark Angels (I believe) vs Orks. Nick and Rob's game, both learned quite a bit, not being familiar with each other's armies.

Dark Angels (Deathwing) vs Orks. More learning, pushing dice around and basics. An aside, I love Deathwing.

Tau vs Grey Knights. Bill's Grey Knight list is really hilarious. It just gets right to the point. First turn assaults, heavy incinerators all over your army.

Then just hanging out, got some rare quality Sam time. I remember that guy.

This week, I'd like to make an effort to play a 500 point doubles match (1 HQ, 1 Troop minimum per player). The scenario I have in mind is just about the simplest one, Pitched Battle Victory Points. I'm most interested in the time it takes to play the match.

I can run two 500 point lists at once, but I'd prefer to see how 4 people manage the game.

I would really prefer 4 people to play in this game also.

Please do us a favor and make it happen.

PS. The store will look like it's been robbed this Thursday.  Have no fear, we've just taken most of the stuff to PAX.

This week is looking pretty good for me to make it, I'll see if I can come up with something I don't hate at 500 points, but don't count on it.  If I can't come up with something I like, I'll just bring the Sanguinor and a handful of assault marines  :-\

I am out this week, but if we are still testing out 500pts lists next week, I would be more than willing to bring a list and try out some team play.
