Hey guys, my name is Garrett Yablonski and I am a student at WPI and looking to get back in the game, From what Ive seen people meet on thursdays.  Just wanted to confirm how many ppl are there usually, and if there is an army thats not wide played at the store (havent played in 3 years, my first and only army atm is tau, and considering picking up a new one for a fresh start at painting and fun)

Thanks in advance!

Hi Garrett,

Usually there's 8-10 people on a usual Thursday evening. It's a good night to chat all things 40k and get a casual game in.

If you play Tau, you'll find a home here. Tau for some inexplicable reason is BG Plainville's most popular army, far and away the most played army.

If you want to see the other armies, I do very brief write-ups after each week. That will give you an excellent idea of the usual suspects.  :)

Yeah, I think the least seen army is Space Wolves... which is probably opposite from every other game store or club in the past few years. Tau are most popular, Tyranids second, new Necrons are surging a bit, but every other army is represented fairly equally after that.

The Grey Knight players are just the most consistent. Not as consistent as a certain Daemons player, a statement that applies only to attendance.

Well I can think of four maybe five. Maybe your daemons are to spooky for all of them to be active.

Off the top of my head...
Two Dark Eldar players who play infrequently.
Two Sisters players, one who's infrequent and one who knows better than to play them with the current "codex". :|

Campaigns have been discussed and one time attempted, but one hasn't happened in 1+ years and I don't expect one to happen anytime soon.
