They only get the increased speed from pain, I believe?

Pain can be thought of as a form of psychic energy.

Since the Null Zone impedes psychic energy, the Wytches would have a harder time drawing the pain from it to gain the increased speed.

Makes sense to me!

They get the Invul for superior hand to hand training. If they got it from pain they would have it all the time

Either way it was a great use of the psychic power.
