ben, who won that? it looked like the daemons were making a come back.
They did make a late push. I had to concede the left side of the table, but pushed hard with the Chopstar on the opponent's right quarter. Unfortunately, an outflanking Baal Predator made life miserable on my side's right quarter and eventually killed my Bloodletters there on Turn 5, so that was the game. We went to six, and that's when Skulltaker killed Mephiston. With another round, he would have killed Lamartes, too.

I think it was the full moon. I've never had a game where my scatter dice flipped out like they did.

Just got word that Simon, a Thursday 40k regular, took 1st place at an Ard Boyz event. Representin'.  8)

I would love for the Thursday regulars to post their results, because I have a feeling there will be other successes.

I'm looking forward to having ridiculous fun at Plainville's Ard Boyz tomorrow.

Cheer up! You should see him at the semi-finals.

I believe Simon said he played in Warwick (so probably Veteran's/Game On), which is closer geographically for him. All's fair in love and Warhammer.

This is all great news, especially the part where I won't have to throw together extra tables for tomorrow.

Grats winners (and me)!

Alright gang, tomorrow there are going to be a bunch of lame-o losers who think they can come to our store and drag their sorry selves to victory, because they couldn't get the job done today. To those players I say, "You stunk yesterday and you will stink today. Of everyone I'm going to table today, I'm going to table your loser butts last. This is our house! Here's a box of tissues, for when you cry! And remember when I said I would table you last?!... I lied. *table*"

That's my motivational speech. I think it's the best motivational speech ever written. Tomorrow, based on that speech alone, everyone should go out and win. Go team!
