Plainville's Official "Unofficial" Tuesday 40k
« on: January 07, 2011, 02:12:19 AM »
A solid group of friends have been meeting up at the Plainville store every Thursday night around 6:30 - 7 PM for the past few months to play 40k. We've all played each other many times, so some new blood would be fun! We practice to be competitive, but it's all fun.

I play Chaos Space Marines. There is a Tau player and a couple Space Marines players. Also, one Witchhunters / Daemonhunters / IG player.

Introduce yourself here or at the store, and let the magic of social networking commence!

EDIT (6/13/15): Same Warhammer, new night! No longer Thursdays, but now Tuesday 40k.

He's just scared of the endless railguns!
But Thursday night 40K is excellent.

I'm thinking 1750 for the upcoming Thursday.

I wouldn't say I'm scared so much as it's a lesson learned 5 times over.

For others reading in, we run usually between 1750-2000 points.

We haven't played doubles in quite some time either, so that would be fun.

I know you guys are talking about Thursday night... Just to let you know there is a fair share of us that play 40k on Tuesday nights starting at 4pm going till close... There are a few that switch to fantasy later on. Just FYI

This Tuesday's not good for me, but still good to know! If you see a guy in the corner holding a sign that says "Warhammer 40k", that'll be me.

I can start doing Thursday nights. Since snowboarding season has opened I've been missing my usual Saturdays at Abington. I'll start coming at the plainville store, just let me know what time. I play DA and have a huge collection for you guys to pick away at.
I like to go home, pour some whiskey, and have a surplus of units to pick from.

I'll be there Thursday early afternoon for a scheduled game, then be free for whoever shows up thereafter. This Thursday may turn into All Day 40k.

Dark Angels vs. CSM perhaps, Epic Battle of the Below Average Codices!

Sorry I missed last Thursday, all the snowfall left me plowing for the day. Needed the extra fundage. I most likely won't be able to make this upcoming Thursday either due to a snowboarding trip. Would love to face ya though.

Who ended up winning, I had to leave at the bottom of turn 5 I believe

It didn't go on long after that, as the dice never got any better for the Imperium, and they surrendered victory to the Xenos team of Chaos Marines / Necrons / Eldar.

I know of six people showing up Thursday 40k, unlike last week where I by my lonesome met and played against new people. The horror of being happy!

There has been some talk of Thursday 40k this week at the store.  I know of at least 1 person who is really looking forward to it and another 2 players that will be around.

I'm liking how Thursdays are shaping up to be an awesome 40k night in Plainville.  :)
