Thanks again to the DE player, (sorry, never caught your name) That was a really fun game, I didn't realize how close it was until right at the end. Lots of fun, and good luck at the tournament!

For the 1750pt singles tournement, which should I play:

C:SM (Salamanders)
CSM (Thousand Sons. 1 Pred)
Guard (mix mech and foot)
Blood Angels (Assault Marines and Baals)

I never played at this point level, in any kind of game so I have no idea which army will be effective. Any thoughts? I was leaning towards Blood Angels.

There are basically two prizes you can go for. One is Best General and the other is Player's Choice (same idea as Renaissance Man, Best Overall, et al).

Best General - Guard are exceptionally competitive at any point level. I'd then rank the rest as Blood Angels well ahead of Space Marines and Chaos Space Marines.

Best Overall - Bring your best painted, most fun army and enjoy yourself.

Funny thing, turns out tomorrow is Christmas Eve, and I thought Christmas Eve was Sunday. I have family things to do.

I knew tommorrow was Christmas Eve too :/. Right now Im doing rather well no complications slightly sore. Would have been already to have that match tommorrow I was so looking forward too :(.
