Only one week before 7th edition. Lets give 6th an epic send off.

Should the miserable Grot crews survive for long they will soon become deafened and have to resort to a rudimentary system of sign language. This is rarely successful as there are only so many signs a Grot can carry around with him.

Shenanigans tonight? I will take what I have around 800 - 900 points of CSM.  Still putting together other models to get more points and range options.

So today we had

Salamanders vs Eldar/Orks
Astra Militarum vs Necrons
Ork Dread Mob vs Dark Angels

And with that we bring 6th edition Thursday 40k to a close. Heres hoping 7th edition or 6.5 or whatever brings lots of demon summoning and warp periling good times. Especially since my 20 flesh hounds just arrived.

Yeah Yeah!!!

You kids and your fancy warp magic... When I was your age, we had magic too: we called it SCIENCE!

(pay no mind to the cranky old Necrons - they're grumpy after a long nap)

Looking forward to seeing how a non-psyker army will fair in the psychic phase.

Tomorrow's the first Thursday 40k with the new 7th edition rules. Would be a great to opportunity to really break in the new rule set.  Bring that crazy infinite demon summoning list, bring that crazy unbound army of nothing but riptides, helldrakes, and wraith knights. Summon a Bloodthirster with your seer council, bring three primary detachments.

I can't wait for the faces of the newer players, "But this worked in 6th Edition!" :)

Yesterday we had.

Eldar vs Space Marines
Tyranids vs Necrons
Space Marines vs Dark Eldar
Orks vs Orks
Astra Militarum vs Necrons

Lot of people trying out 7th edition. I only managed to summon Flesh Hounds once with my Orks so that was kind of sad. No one tried out the Maelstrom of War missions though.

Yesterday was pretty quiet.
Epic Salamanders vs Salamanders rematch now with 25% more super heavies.
Astra Militarum vs Necrons
