So Thanksgiving is on Thursday next week.  TANKSgiving is on Tuesday.  Here's hoping we see some of the Thursday 40k guys this coming Tuesday for some tank hunting.

It would help BG greatly this Thursday if people could help by play-testing some prototype Invitational missions.

People are still free of course to show up and do whatever they like. :)

I was planning on showing up with 1850 anyway, which is what the invitational will be as well, if I recall (too lazy to check right now).  I'd love to test it out.

Invitational is 1850. People can playtest the scenarios with whatever points.

What time do these things start at because I was going to try and make it tomorrow. I just started with 40k so I can probably only do 500 points maybe 750.
Should the miserable Grot crews survive for long they will soon become deafened and have to resort to a rudimentary system of sign language. This is rarely successful as there are only so many signs a Grot can carry around with him.

First, welcome!

Second, people usually roll in after work, around 6:30-7:00 PM.

Though the cool people are usually fashionably later than this.

Last night was productive!

Blood Angels vs Chaos
Tau vs Chaos
Tau vs Dark Angels
Orks vs Blood Angels

3 of the tables ran prototype Invitational scenarios and there were extensive discussions and brainstorming afterward. If nothing else, I am encouraged by a community with so many ideas!

Very nice. I need to get in there for some games once the holidays are over.

So now that you have our input the packets will be ready today right? ;)

I Like what you came up with so far and I think you have a good handle on applying missions that are more appropriate to the edition.  More troop oriented than 5th and they required a bit more interaction between the players armies, which I am a big fan of.  Keep us updated on how things are going and if you need more help!
