Just so everyone knows, if I don't post up telling you to show up, there's still Thursday 40k. :)

We had one table tonight, but it was a doubles match.

Space Marines and Chaos Space Marines vs Ravenwing and (probably) Blood Angels

Though the store's been quiet, this has actually let me carry on long conversations with people about hobby-related things. I even worked out a few names for my Shark Marines' vehicles.

The November writing thing is taking up one corner of BG on Thursdays, and there's still Commander League too.

Who has Doubles fever?! I'm admittedly a bit more excited for the 500 Point play-testing.

Both can happen this week.

I am planning on being there this Thursday.  I actually have a pretty solid DA 1000 pts doubles list, but I have a few ideas bouncing around in my head for 500pts of orks.

I can play anything...if that helps. I have over 2k in necrons, guard, and marines each.

There was a 500 point game testing the newest 500 point scenario of units in deployment zones giving up double VPs. The game went well from a technical standpoint, and it went well if you were driving Deffrollas into your opponent's army.

There was a 1650 point game between Space Marines and Tau feat. Farsight's ridiculous blob.

There were a couple other games as well, the composition of which escapes me at this late hour.

Next weekend is the Doubles tournament. Get your practice on next Thursday! 1000 points, each player.

I'll probably be around tonight looking for some 500 pt rumbles.

We had 500 point rumbles, a Doubles practice game and Space Marines vs IG. Winter is settling in, quieter around the store. I'd recommend either arranging a game in advance or having a Plan B, as pick-up games are getting scarce.
