The more you play, the easier it is to learn. After the Megabattle, I'll likely to take a (tiny) break playing, and I can offer watching a game of yours, issuing advice or recommendations when asked. A second set of eyes during a game makes learning so much easier. Knowing where to start improvements is half the battle.
Thanks!

Yes I played Rumplestilskin ( Henry ), a brutal victory in my favour, Mephiston never showed up for the fight...
Yes, a brutal LOSS on my part...of course I was an oblivious noob as usual. I did learn a few new things though, and I am a bit LESS rusty on the mechanics of the game.

Apply it to 40k and achieve instant godmode

Haha! This actually sort of helped!

Last game was Tyranids vs Space Marines. A lot of good marines got eaten that night.

I believe Fateweaver will be flying tomorrow night in demonstration, and that's always good for laughs. I think we're in for a calm evening before the Megabattle storm.

Looked around the store tonight and at one point just felt happy. Lots of activity!

Early on, my Daemons were escorted off the board by Tyranids. Doom of Malwoc is, um, pretty freakin' awesome.

Later...
Daemons vs Space Marines, take that Null Zone!
Tyranids vs Space Marines
Necrons vs Skaven Guard (unbelievably awesome army!)
Blood Angels vs Space Wolves
... something on a fifth table that may or may not have been Warmachine related.

Should have been painting for the Megabattle, but that's what tomorrow is for! :D

Bah Fate Weaver just hid himself like a Little Baby for the whole game. New Ideas tossed around learned new things good game though.

Well, it made for a great narrative for Fateweaver to arrive casually late Turn 4, "Oh, the Null Zone Librarian is already dead? Then my job here is done!" And he wasn't hiding the whole time! There were *two* whole turns where he was mixing it up like a blender.

Well, back to painting. My Greater Daemon of Tzeentch will be painted yellow like a giant chicken. Maybe that should be Fateweaver color too, eh Pat?

After a successful Megabattle event and something like 9 hours of huge 40k, I'm taking a break from playing this week.

But I'm not taking a break from Thursday 40k! I will show up, mill about, offer tactical suggestion when not asked, pick up models and put them down in the wrong spot, make loud grunts for no discernible reason and in general strive to be "that guy."

It'll be nice just to step back for a moment and watch some games, study weaknesses, crush my foes, see them driven before me and hear the lamentations of their women. I take this game seriously, bro.
