I know there was a challenge thrown down last week, Tau vs IG. There will be some 500 points Doubles playtesting and a little bird told me about some Adepticon doubles practice. Thursday 40k, full steam ahead.

Another week not enough gas to Make it up there. Brother Finally got a car so I don't need to haul his butt back and forth everywhere. Going to at least be 40kish and Get some painting done for the Tourney.

The store was unbelievably crowded tonight, standing room only for a few hours. That's the sort of thing that'll happen when BG hosts a Boy Scout troop meeting the night before Good Friday.

Blood Angels & Chaos Daemons vs Grey Knights, GKs continue to perpetuate the myth of breaking 40k.

Blood Angels & Kroot Mercenaries vs Blood Angels & Necrons - A mutually agreed upon draw. Furioso Dreadnoughts are becoming a favorite unit of mine, by the way.

Tau vs IG. I believe some rather poor luck on the IG shooting phase was the edge the Greater Good needed.

Thursday continues to be a night of all things. Magic, 40k, Warmachine, RPGs all firing at once. It's actually kinda neat to see the store at full potential at once.

Is anyone interested in playtesting Thursday? Regardless, I'll be there as will my armies. Seems I'm too lazy to take them out of my car when I get home.

If I get my Paycheck from work . Rumours state they have some fuck up and we might have to wait to get checks. I will be there tomorrow/Today with a 500 point list of Space Marines to throw the Power Gauntlet down to challenge others to great glory.

Looks like I'll be working Thursday night/Friday morning again, but going in late!  That means I might just make it up finally after what... 8 months!?  Won't be playing, but watching will be as much fun... and buying stuff, buying stuff is always good!  Want to get me some of the new paints... especially the white base one... those are in now, right?

And in 40k....

Orks vs Blood Angels. Looked like the Blood Angels were on their way to a victory. Fast mech tends to do that.

Space Marines & Daemons vs Space Marines & Daemons. I had two goals in this match. One, see how long 750 points would take to play. Two, troll Pat with Fateweaver.

Tau vs Grey Knights. Simon set out to prove Tau could beat Bill's GK list. Maybe next week, try again!

Orks vs Dark Eldar. I saw this match was going on across the store, but it was across the store and I really need to make a better effort.

So next week I'm scheduled for a Doubles match at 1000 points a piece. I may end up running two armies unless someone else gets in the teaching mood and wants to be my partner against two young whippersnappers. Back in my day, when you started playing and you chose Necrons, you were laughed at. Now these kids and their new-fangled quantum shields and tesla weapons...
