D&D Encounters Season 3: Keep on the Borderlands
« on: August 31, 2010, 10:24:12 AM »
D&D Encounters Season 2 only has a few sessions left and Season 3 starts up immediately. From the previews I've seen, it looks like they are throwing all their current tricks at it. It will be set in the Nentir Vale, it'll incorporate elements of the "Chaos Scar" theme from current Dungeon Magazine adventures. It will feature Essentials characters and try and invoke a retro-game feel of classic D&D (hence the subtitle Keep on the Borderlands).

I think it sounds like it could be interesting.

Do we want to swap out DMs? Would people like me to DM again? This season is longer than the previous ones so we could always swap out DMs between chapters if our people would like to run the game.

I want to play in this one.  I wonder if I'll get the chance.

Will encounters be in both stores?
I know Todd is willing to DM if we don't have one, but that would be in Abington.
Me: Mending isn't healing, if Todd's shirt rips I can "mend" it.
Kurt: That's just a racial ability you have.

I meant to post earlier, but the forums weren't working for me. Jess and I wont be able to make it Wednesdays for D&D Encounters this season.

I'm looking forward to hearing how the sessions go. I hope this season's adventure is good.
