Drew, do you still plan to play in the 40k league that starts this coming Thursday?  If so please shoot me a PM.  Thanks, dude.

speaking of super heavies which ones can i use? and where do i get them?

which leads me to ask why is a emperor 4000 points? couldnt it just die like any other tank with armor 14? or did i read over something. because demolisher cannon trumps armor. me likey demolisher cannons.  if only they had a red x across them...  ::)

The Emperor Titan is 4000 points of pure kick ass.  What you need to go over are the rules pertaining to Super Heavies in general, and not just the model itself and the weapons it carries.  (ie - Structure points, Void Shields, multiple targets)

In a nutshell, the Emperor Titan has a lot of Structure Points and a lot of Void Shields.  To scale, the model stands about 4 feet tall and is about 3 to 3.5 feet wide.  If you check out some of the pics from the Megabattle, there were 2 that were made for that day.

You can't buy the model anywhere (yet), but if you feel creative enough to try and make one, the sky's the limit as long as you have the initiative to make it.

As far as which Super Heavies you can bring, technically, you can bring anything that is part of the greater Imperium.  So Hellhammers, Baneblades, etc, are all legal for Space Marines.  Fluffwise, I don't know how that mixes with Blood Angels, but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be a problem.  Ask some of the people in the store who know the storyline behind 40K better to see if it matches well with them.

so... in other words i just have the variations of the baneblade kit? i wonder if baal's techmarines can drop a lucifer III engine in those bad boys and make them fast (as is our way). the emperor i saw in the mega battle is just hilarious its like putting a toddler on the board with weapon bitz glued on  :D

is there any instructions or something on how to make a titan from scratch? or do i have to free style a giant walking castle? im kinda interested in doing one for next megabattle now i have plenty of spare time to make one i just would like tips/instructions or a list of materials. or i could just make one out of cereal boxes and toilet paper rolls like when i was 8.

There aren't any specific instructions, at least to my knowledge, but there are probably some online guides that you can follow.

Or....

Just ask Nick Hough, Mike Do, or Rich Bourque how they made theirs.  :P

Otherwise, I think as long as you make it to scale, your best bet is just be as creative as you can, and make it the best you can to your own image of the Titan.  I'm guessing that's what those guys did for the Mega Battle this year.

Haha, Captain Biker will be waiting....

And no, there were only 2 Emperors, but Mike and Rich built theirs together.  Both of them were on the Moon Table too.  Figures the two largest models in the game were on one of the two smaller tables.  :P

just out of curiosity, i was reading the rulebook and couldnt find a ruling. are you allowed to put two ics in the same squad such as a librarian and chaplain in a tac squad?

Yes, you can.  I'm not sure where in the rulebook it says this, but IC's have a special rule where they can attach with a non-IC unit, along with other IC's.  In non-Apoc games, it's less daunting because you can only play with 2 HQ's at most, but in Apoc games, it can get a little bit more complex.  Otherwise, it works the same when allocating wounds and such.

now lets see if ive actually improved my game. my thunderhammerers have been practicing their backswing.  death company shall number in the hundreds by the end of this battle! i already added more to the fun from last time. the one thing i hate is those damn bikes and their t5, maybe ill bring bikes of my own  ;D

or i could proxy and try my daemon army... but its too small to make 2000. so far its just a nurgle prince, soul grinder, two heralds, and some pink horros and one abomination using for changeling. thats only like 1250.

I'll play whatever you want to play, Dave.  I've played against Daemons before, and they can be nasty.  And as for your Death Company, I'll have to throw another diversion at them to keep them preoccupied until my Bikers are in Firing Squad formation.

Maybe another empty Drop Pod will do...   ::)

@ Dan & Anthony,

Would you guys want to play another Apoc game with Bryan and I?  How does a rematch of our first game sound?
