I loved the first year the most so far.  Maybe this year will be better, but I don't predict that.  That doesn't mean that all of them aren't a great, memorable event.  It sounds strange coming from the kid bringing a titan legion, but I loved when Baneblades were the big tanks that everybody needed to work to kill.  When the Brass Scorpion hit the city and it became priority to not let it burst through, and when my titan came in behind Alan's tanks and became a huge part of the battle on that quarter of the table.  I loved when there wasn't as many crazy superheavies, as it was what it was supposed to be, a huge game of 40k.  Last year and this year, it is a large-scale game of Epic with some weird 40k mutations.  Which has it's nice things, but at the same time I loved it being smaller.

Then again maybe I'm just a nostalgic person. I did love 3rd Ed the best and collect minis from befoer I was born.  :P
It's the throwing phase now.

i was on the receiving end on occasion

Although the Drop Pods getting Glancing shots on Alan's tanks and Immobilising or removing their turrets was funny :)

Haha!  Great videos!  My favorite part is the close up of Steve D from behind his Thunderhawk.

Can't wait to make some of these memories my own!   :D

yes that was funny, as was watching black-hearted space pups landing on top of a baneblade :) while it was trying to pour flanking fire into the insane charge of the Bezerkers in support of their fell scorpion avatar of war... Good times.

First year i remember me blowing up 50+ of brandon's marines and mine and pauls 8 feet of walls and bunker.  Not to be out done the next year i blew up around 4k points when i made deepdive's titan go apocaliptic.  Wonder what I'm going to have to do to top myself this year hmmmmm.
