Warmachine/Hordes Rules Review

Do you play Warmachine/Hordes already? Have you wanted to try playing but weren’t sure where or when? Battleground Plainville will be starting a new League series labor day weekend and you are all invited to come and play. But before you do, wouldn’t it help to know how to play? Then Aug 25th is your answer to that problem.

On Monday, August 25th, from 6-9 PM we will review the ins and outs of the game, clarifications, errata’s, and any other things we can think of to make sure all players are ready for league play. But just because this is a rules review doesn’t mean the veteran players can’t come. Veteran players are also invited simply because they have seen a lot of the situations new players will come to see. And as a bonus, any players who participate in this event will receive 4 League points to start off with. That’s 4 points before league play even begins. Plus, the night is also free! Free points, Free event and you can get yourself ready for the week after. So, if you are a rookie caster or a seasoned 50 point veteran, come on down to Battleground Plainville and help get the league started in the right direction.

Battleground Plainville
Monday Aug 25th
6-9PM
4 Point bonus League Points for participating for at least 2 hours

We had 9 people for the rules reading this Monday.

Also, Matt's decided to change the weekly fee to:

$5.00/person
or
$10.00/person which gets you $8.00 is store credit towards WM/H stuff and supplies.

Hey how's it going, totally new to Warmachine/Hordes, looking for a fun way to learn and build-up an army on a curve and was wondering if you guys run these sort of ladder leagues with any regularity?

They don't happen super regularly, but the league that's going on now is comprised almost entirely of people who are brand new to the game or have very little experience.

They aren't super far along (I think they're playing with 25 point lists at the moment), so if you feel like stopping by on a Monday night to check it out, that would be cool.  It seems like every week the players are teaching someone new how to play.

Tonight they've got a little event scheduled.  It's a 25 point tournament where you can only bring Warjacks and Warbeasts.  If you'd like to check that out they should be in Plainville from 7-10pm.
