I read through the legion of the damned this morning. This is what the Thousand Sons should have been. The basic troopers all have the same rules except Legion basic troopers get grenades, a 3++ over a 4++, there bolters have ignore cover and access to special and heavy weapons for 2 points more per model. The only real advantage 1ksons have is the access to transports and they don't have to deep strike.
Makes me think of doing a count as army using Space Wolves as a primary and a legion detachment. That way you can take 4 rune priests to count as Sorcerer's and squad leader's.
