Modern MTG Tournament
« on: February 01, 2013, 01:52:37 PM »
My friends and I play Standard a lot but were also getting into playing Modern a lot more as well, is there anyway you can implement a weekly modern tournament? And as well can you do more of the Star City Games IQ and tournaments as standard and modern. I know you have one coming up on feb 23rd. I just want to know if your going to do more. Thanks

At which location do you and your friends usually play?

A weekly Modern event will likely make the schedule in Abington in the foreseeable future.

The business has a lot on it's plate right now so while we're working through that it's unlikely that weekly events will get added.

After PAX there may be some schedule re-tooling at the new location.

People in Plainville keep asking me about getting new BG play mats. Make it happen! :)

There was also a rumor going around that everyone wanted all of the play mats to be stamped with "Play Thursday 40k."

I'm pretty sure this rumor is false...you don't even need a playmat for 40K  :P

Ah, you misunderstand. The Magic playmats would advertise Thursday 40k. While you're staring at the board, did you know the Emperor has a plan for your life? (Hint: It's going to be short and brutal.)

I mean, that's the rumor.

These new playmats should say "come to abington for 40k.  lol no, just go to plainville."  AND each hand signed by nick hough, king of Battleground, lord of house hough.
