New Player looking for a couple of learning games
« on: August 26, 2012, 11:07:44 PM »
Hey guys, my name is Andrew and I have been in the hobby for a while but have actually played a game. If anyone is interested I'm looking to get a couple of learning games in, figure out the rules of the new edition and become a fairly regular player. I'm available most nights and weekends. Thanks.

Where are you from, Andrew?  Which location might you visit?

With some lead up time (like a day or so), I could run you through the rules on a Thursday night in Abington.

I think you posted in the wrong topic -- but I'm definitely down for another megabattle too!

I'm coming from Quincy, so the abington store would be my spot.

Would this thursday (30th) be enough notice? I know I'm kind of dropping it on you but after tomorrow I dont have anything going on until Monday, afterwhich I become pretty busy.

I would be up for a game around 6pm.

Yeah, I could bring an army to Abington.  Normally, i'm there around 6:30 or 7.

EDIT:
Unless Asuran wants to run you through a game.

How many points did you want to do, anyway?

i figured a 1000 pts would be good to start. I have both DE and Necrons with the capability of playing larger games with both but thought 1000 was good. No?
