Model Clarity what can you use.
« on: August 17, 2012, 11:56:30 PM »
I am building a model out of bits I have bought/accumulated. I want to run this model as a Librarian with a Force Sword. What Key Features do I have to give him to make him playable as a Librarian? If he looks Fundamentally Different than any other model I have on the table is that enough?
I ride in on my Bike with my Hat of awesome and say Nay this place should be on fire.

Yeah, pretty much. If he's the only Librarian, make him unique and that should be enough. It would also help if he looked badass, because he's an HQ after all.

When I think of Librarian, I think of a big book.  That is what I used when I made my Ravenwing Libby.  You want a Ravenwing book?  I only have 5,000 of them left.

Well... WYSIWYG and run from there?

A force weapon could be any thing from an ornate power staff with lots of crazy do-hickeys to a broken bottle from a local pub.  They are both things a psycher just charges and then soul sucks people with.  You could also use a two handed sword and condemn those unfit to walk the halls for not knowing the Dewey Decimal System.

The book is nice but lots of people carry important books into battle and then shudder in fear anytime someone has a flamer.

I think the most important part of a librarian is his psychic hood.  It's always there, on every librarian you see.  Why?  Because it channels and augments his psychic powers and even has defensive functions.

But the_trooper, I want to make my own librarian!  How do I sculpt one, get the bits?  All the new grey knight models have one so be friends with a grey knight player and rifle through their bits box.
