I listen to podcasts sometimes during work and I want to try this idea that Muse on Minis discussed in their most recent podcast. It works alot like a magic the gathering draft. Might be fun to try out on a Friday after the league is over.
Break out every caster's stats, feat, spells into the following and make cards for them:
-Stat-Line (including base size)
-Individual Weapons (no multiple copies)
-Individual Spells (no multiple copies)
-Special Abilities (no multiple copies)
-Feat
There would be rules for drafting and assembling the caster as well, such as you can only use 1 feat and 1 stat line but you can draft as many as you want. The hard part would be assembling the right ratio of stuff per pack.
The Game:
1. Declare your faction
2. Draft say 10-13 cards (no idea what a good number would be)
3. Build your army
This is just for fun, nothing serious. Now I'm going to be distracted all day thinking about some broken combinations.
