Ok, so put the models in (they where primed and painted) and took them out at a little under 48 hours later. The paint is coming off fine (just need a stiffer brush) but the primes is on there good, even scratching it with the exacto isn't loosening it up :/ it's fine (I'll be recoating it anyways) but a little bit annoying. Is that normal?

That is pretty normal.  Primer really sticks to the model so it doesn't come off.
