What Happens There?

Multiplayer shenanigans, totally free!  Come down with a deck of your choosing for some casual multiplayer using cards from the new Planechase 2012 decks.  Casual, theme, Planechase, or Commander decks are recommended for this event.

Players will group themselves together and begin a normal multiplayer game... with a twist.  The new shifting plane cards and phenomenon cards constantly affect the game and create a multiplayer feel like never before.


What Do I Get?

All participants that purchase a Planechase 2012 deck will receive an exclusive Stairs to Infinity card (while supplies last).  In addition, players that participate will receive a promo oversized card at random (old Planechase cards, Archenemy cards, Commander cards, etc.) while supplies last.


What is Planechase?

The Planechase game pack gives you the components you need to play a Planar Magic game. In this brand-new casual variant, you and your friends will take your Magic: The Gathering® game skipping across the Multiverse. Each plane you visit (from old favorites you'll recognize to mysterious realms you'll get a sneak peek of) brings its distinctive flavor into your game, bending it just enough to keep things fresh. Planar Magic is an action-packed, larger-than-life way to enjoy your favorite game!

The four new Planechase decks (Chaos Reigns, Night of the Ninja, Primordial Hunger, and Savage Auras) will contain all-new planar decks that contain a new kind of oversized card, and an assortment of new, Eternal-legal Magic cards.

Each deck has eight new plane cards and two new phenomenon cards, and these cards are not shared between decks; there are a total of 32 new planes and 8 new phenomena.

Finally, there are brand new cards that are legal in Eternal formats including a cycle of multicolored Legendary creatures!
